PTP is reusable if care is taken to dislodge old beads by gentle ultrasound and wash.

I have used an expired plate and have not really had any issues. All of the reagents that I used along with said plate were in spec, so if it is just the plate you have that is expired, you should be ok.

Has anybody used an expired PTP kit?

They have expiry dates, but it is only the plate and the rubber loading gasket and cartridge seal. I presume it would be fine, but I would appreciate any input from someone who has used an expired one.

    Thank you!
