PTP is reusable if care is taken to dislodge old beads by gentle ultrasound and wash. -
I have used an expired plate and have not really had any issues. All of the reagents that I used along with said plate were in spec, so if it is just the plate you have that is expired, you should be ok.Leave a comment:

Has anybody used an expired PTP kit?
They have expiry dates, but it is only the plate and the rubber loading gasket and cartridge seal. I presume it would be fine, but I would appreciate any input from someone who has used an expired one.
