We're very happy with Silver level. Also echoing that I wouldn't attempt to run a next-gen system of any flavor without a service contract.

illuminaGA - Are these runs SR or PE? We are running PE and the strange observation is that Cycle 1 is good, Cycles 2-67 are poor, Indexing Cycles are good (and we get good multiplex efficiency), and Read 2 Cycles (another 67) are good. Illumina Tech Support is surprised that only Read 1 is affected. Do you have any similar data? Or are you only running SR?

Hi,cdalgard
I run PE(101+7+101). I stopped all the 3 test running around cycles 20. I didn't try finishing the running because the intensities form cycles 2-20 usually under 100k.

I re-Hyb the flowcell and rerun. The new running performance well. I really want to figure out what happened.

Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?
Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating...-

Researchers using sequencing and genomics tools often have to make trade-offs. They can choose between speed or scale, short reads or long-range information, or targeted panels or a view of the whole transcriptome. New technologies that have been released this year are built to address those tough choices.
We asked six companies the same four questions to learn about their latest products. The new technologies bring a lot to the table, including rethinking sequencing...-
