Some highlights:
- Sequenced anonymous Yoruba male from HapMap project
- Seven runs overall (does not look like they amortized instrument costs in this $60k calculation).
- 36 gigabases of data (up to 9 Gb per run)
- 12x overall coverage with coverage of some structural variants of over 100x
- Announced "SOLiD Software Development Community"
- Data is publicly available in NCBI's TraceDB here: ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/pub/TraceDB/ShortRead/SRA000272
