    diBayes with gff3/BAM files

Secondary analysis on SOLiD 3.5 has generated mapping files in GFF3 format. These files are convereted in to bam files, however current stand alone module of diBayes can not be used for SNP calling as it is only accepting gff2 file format. Is there anyway we can use bam/GFF3 files for stand alone dibayes tool?

can you give me an instance of a typical gff2 file that is supplied to dibayes? the thing is, i looked at the wiki page for gff2 format and i'm a bit confused and unacquainted with the 'group' field which sounds like a field for storing random attributes. if you tell me exactly what kind of input dibayes expects, or display any key identifiers, i'll jot up a quick script and post it on here...

16S/ITS Profiling vs. Shotgun Metagenomics: What Changes in Your Workflow?
                by SEQadmin2

NGS has revolutionized clinical microbiology by offering new ways to identify and surveil pathogens without prior knowledge of the target. One popular approach is 16S rRNA and ITS amplicon sequencing, which targets specific microbial markers. But studies are increasingly incorporating shotgun metagenomics, a technique that sequences all DNA from a sample without targeting specific microbial markers. This approach allows more detailed taxonomic classification, detection...

Multiomic Liquid Biopsy: What DNA/RNA Panels Reveal That DNA Alone Can’t
                by SEQadmin2

Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?

Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating
