As someone who has never used the solid system I'd like to know if you get the raw image files of the sequencing or positional information of the sequence. Also the beads are attached to the glass right

I suppose your service provider could give you the raw images. We don't keep them ourselves (they are large!) but I suspect that if you were doing sequencing with us and if you were able to grab the images off of the machine within a couple of days of your run completion before we erase them in order to get ready for the next run, I don't see why you couldn't have them. I doubt if they would do you much good though. Glass, beads, attached ... yes.
