Covaris RRL approach

Hi All,

I am hoping to use Covaris for fragmenting DNA that is already size selected to fragment size between 2kn and 3kb (using a similar protocol to the Turkey SNP RRL paper http://www.biomedcentral.com/1471-2164/10/479)..

I understand that parameters are nicely worked out for fragmenting whole genomic DNA, but I have seen less about pre-fragmented stuff..

I'll end up doing the experiment to determine the optimal conditions, but it would be helpful to know where to start..
