I was having installation problems but I got it to work with the following (I'm using python2.7):
1. # Installed python-setuptools v0.6.34-0ubuntu1
2. # Installed pip with the commands:
curl -O https://raw.github.com/pypa/pip/mast...rib/get-pip.py
sudo python get-pip.py
3. # Installed cutadapt:
sudo pip install cutadaptComment

after that I write this python setup.py build_ext -i

after that I tried easy_install cython
and then again python setup.py build_ext -i
but getting the same msg that need to install cython so i tried with this code...easy_install cutadapt
and I am getting this msg

Love this - good data definitely starts from good input, and poor input can only give relatively poor data. I particularly like the mention of Nanodrop/absorbance based methods for quantification. It's such a toss up if you'll get an accurate reading or what amounts to a randomly generated number, and a lot of library/sequencing related issues can be traced back to poor quant.07-01-2026, 11:43 AM
