    Counting Uncountable (bias or contamination)

    NGS brings many beneficial feature on microbial ecological studies.
    16S or 18S diversity by many different NGS platforms.
    Microbial ecologist always considers on real vs theoretical after indirect count.
    Many papers showed PCR bias by different primer sets on microbial composition.
    Is there any paper that shows low PCR cycle number vs high cycle number?
    Anyone have experienced Taq polymerase contamination issue? Most of Taq enzyme has host DNA contamination issue (E coli).
