    DSN-lite, RNase H and Ribo-Zero cook off

I'm curious, has anyone tried the RNAse H method? An elegant method, but you'd have to construct a lot of oligos.

I've been playing around with the RNase H method, but it's proven a bit finicky for my samples, at least as far as the Bioanalyzer traces show. When it works, it really seems to work well, but I've also had a few test samples become completely degraded.

The method is patented, so I'm hoping that a commercial kit will be put out that supplies the oligos and full-proofs the method a bit more.

    Very promising stuff though.

Keep me updated if you ever attempt to sequence your RNase H samples. Did you design all the oligos yourself? I'm interested in designing some for mtRNA removal. Yes, a commercial kit would be nice. Anyone know of one coming?
