Is there anyone who can isolate RNA from frozen EDTA blood sample or develop a method? I am open to all kits and methods on this subject.

It has been several years since I've had to do this, but I remember using the QIAamp DNA Blood Kits and it worked fine. I also had a colleague use another kit from Thermo that worked well but I don't remember the name.

What you say is correct. QIAamp DNA Blood works on frozen blood. But I need it for RNA. I always came across a warning in QIAgen kits such as "Frozen blood samples are not recommended for RNA." The Nucleospin RNA kit will arrive within 1 week. I will try that kit for my optimization work.
If this kit does not work, I will try changing a few methods or combining the steps of some protocols. By adding things like that water bath, aluminum, heat block etc.Comment
