So I have a DNA sample that's 330 base pairs in size with a concentration of 51 ng/ul. Can anyone walk me through how to make a 10 nm dilution?

Current concentration can be worked out as followsOriginally posted by KrispyKareme2 View PostSo I have a DNA sample that's 330 base pairs in size with a concentration of 51 ng/ul. Can anyone walk me through how to make a 10 nm dilution?
(ng/µL * 10^6) / 649 * bp)
649 is an estimate of the molecular weight of a double stranded base pair, so molecular weight of your DNA should be 214170 g/mol if the length is 330bp. The 10^6 is a conversion parameter as you need to convert between grams, nanograms, litres, microlitres, molar and nonomolars in the equation.
Your sample has an ~concentration of 238nM.
You can then work out your dilution from that, e.g. 2.1µL of sample plus 47.9µL of EB would give you 50µL of 10nM stock

This calculator will take concentration in ng/ul and template length and calculate the dilution required to make stock nM solutions:
Converting concentrations from ng/μl to nM is a common task in molecular biology labs. The need arises because quantification methods for DNA typically measure the mass per volume of nucleotides in a sample. But, many techniques (including DNA sequencing) require a known number of molecules (moles or nanomoles) to be added. As a result, we often have to convert a concentration

Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?
Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating...-
