Soon, we may have to replace our MiSeq (OG), if the EOL notice is too be believed. For those who have switched to the i100, or i100+, what are your thoughts relative to the older MiSeq. We use our MiSeq for amplicon sequencing and QC of pooled libraries that we send to larger facilities.

I don't work in the lab anymore, but the MiSeq was a workhorse that I used a lot. I ran tons of amplicon libraries on my MiSeq. I know my old lab has one of the smaller devices to test samples before loading onto their NextSeq. I'll reach out to them and see what their experience is and which instrument they bought.
