"Accuracy Accurate down to 384-well plates"
This is a new measure of accuracy that I was previously unaware of.
Their only 'Sequencing Application' in their protocol library is for 16S. There are liquid handling platforms with a much wider array of NGS protocols ready to go than this.. -
A neighboring lab has the OT-One. This first version is unusable for just about anything - it can't hold the pipettes properly and the plates have a lot of play. Version two looks very different, though.Comment

We recently got an OT2. So far it works for single channel pipetting.
We have problems with both of our multi-channel pipettes.
The magnetic module seems to have a design flaw - the magnet is too close to the samples, even when disengaged and at maximum distance (achieved with an self-made adapter). Thus, the beads do not stay in suspension for long - ideally they should stay in suspension for 5 minutes before then engaging the magnet.Comment
